Grasslands (more than three hectares per head), the latest facilities, a mild climate
and complete calm, necessary not to disturb these top level athletes.
Haras de Mandore sits on over 140 hectares. The south west of France is lucky to possess rich land which is perfect for breeding horses. Our primary objective is to produce healthy, strong and precocious horses.
The stud possesses two barns including one foaling barn which features eight large stables equipped with surveillance cameras.
All of the paddocks are irrigated and equipped with large shelters to provide our horses with the utmost comfort.
The stud takes great care in the quality of its grass. For that Jean-Marc de Watrigant, aided by his agricultural manager, regularly studies the state of the land in order to insure that the nutritional quality of the grass as well as the horses wellbeing are irreproachable.
They also use fertilisers and regularly rotate the paddocks used throughout the year. They harrow the paddock, pass the rotator etc...
