Born in 1981, in the south west of France, to a father who bred horses, Nicolas completed agricultural studies specialising in the horse racing industry. After having spent two years in Normandy, at Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard which is owned by the Niarchos family, and Haras du Mezeray, he left for England to work for Shadwell Estate Ltd and then for Luca Cumani as pupil assistant.
He then travelled to Australia and New Zealand where he spent a year gaining more experience working for Coolmore, Arrowfield, Windsor Park Stud, Waikato Stud as well as for the sales company Magic Millions.
When he returned to France in 2007, he joined his father on the family stud in order to create his own bloodstock agency: Mandore International Agency.
The agency currently works with multiple countries (Qatar, USA, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Poland etc.) and regularly travels across the world to offer his services. Today, we collaborate with different trainers such as André Fabre, Jean-Claude Rouget, Françis-Henri Graffard, François Rohaut, Richard Hannon, Todd Pletcher, etc.
